  • Telegram account data: user ID, username, first and last name (if provided in profile) when registering with the bot.
  • Profile data: interests, goals, professional field, and other information voluntarily provided in the meeting questionnaire.
  • Participation data: information about participation in meeting rounds, feedback after meetings to improve matching.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookie data when visiting the website — for site operation, language preference, and basic analytics.
  • Application data: name, contact details, community name when submitting a request to connect Naura Meets for a community.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process your data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR):

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): matching pairs for meetings, sending notifications, operating the Service.
  • Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): where applicable — marketing communications, optional profile categories.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): improving the Service, preventing abuse, ensuring security, anonymised usage analysis.
  • Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)): data retention as required by law, responding to lawful requests from authorities.

4. Recipients and Data Transfers

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with:

  • Service providers necessary for the Service (hosting, analytics), under Data Processing Agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
  • Telegram platform (Telegram Messenger Inc.) when using the bot — in accordance with Telegram’s terms.
  • Law enforcement, courts, or authorities when required by law.

When transferring data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards: EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other mechanisms under GDPR Chapter V.

Matching of pairs is performed using algorithms. Decisions are not based solely on automated processing and do not produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you. You may request human intervention or express your point of view where applicable.

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction. Data transmission uses secure channels (HTTPS, TLS).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via the website, bot, or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
